Migrate from Microsoft Stream (Classic) to Microsoft Stream (On SharePoint)

Migrate from Microsoft Stream (Classic) to Microsoft Stream (On SharePoint)

Microsoft Stream (Classic) will be retired on April 15th, 2024. This means that, if you haven’t already, it’s time to migrate your videos to the new version of Microsoft Stream which is now built on SharePoint.

The new Microsoft Stream (on SharePoint) offers many benefits over the classic version. It allows you to easily manage your video files with the same security, admin controls, compliance, permissions, and sharing controls as the rest of your files in SharePoint and OneDrive. You can also record videos with advanced tools directly in the camera, search for videos anywhere in Microsoft 365, and view Teams Meeting Recordings with transcripts, chapters, timeline markers, speaker attribution, and comments.

We understand that migrating your videos can be a daunting task, but don’t worry, we’re here to help. Our team is available to assist you with the migration process to ensure a smooth transition and to prevent any loss of data. Please make sure to migrate your videos before April 15th, as any unmigrated videos will be deleted after this date.

We want to make this transition as easy as possible for you, so don’t hesitate to reach out for our help. We’re here to offer our assistance and ensure that you don’t lose any of your valuable data. We look forward to helping you migrate to the new version of Microsoft Stream.
